B.U.M. Equipment to Add Footwear with New License
B.U.M. Equipment, the well-known California lifestyle brand, has entered into a license agreement to manufacture and sell B.U.M. footwear with New York-based Unity Brands Inc., which currently licenses Andrew Fezza for men’s dress footwear and Mecca for streetwear.
“The addition of the footwear category will bring our current license roster now to 11 for the USA Market,” said Stephen Wayne, chairman of the Board of B.U.M. Equipment LLC. “Price points for men’s shoes will be $24.99 to $39.99 and will be available for sale for fall 2018.”
B.U.M. launched its heritage collection of sportswear exclusively at Urban Outfitters last fall and has expanded its footprint since then to include 11 categories including men’s activewear, underwear and footwear, girl’s and boy’s underwear, girl’s activewear, infant’s and toddler’s sportswear, hosiery and footwear and men’s and ladies hosiery, eyewear, fragrances.
In addition, Wayne has appointed Faith Wall to act as its licensee coordinator to solicit new licenses and coordinate the marketing of its brand to both retailers and manufacturers. Wall will start effective March 1, 2018.
